Inequality #

Inequality, particularly wealth inequality and to a lesser extent income inequality, are huge problems globally and within most countries. Inequality compounds through generations without enough social mobility.

  • Paul Graham on how inequality has been caused by an erosion of the things that once held us together, rather than an increase in polarisation.
  • Again, Paul Graham on how people get rich these days. I found this to be a little on the nose, priveleged, and I think this rebuttal is pretty accurate. Poverty and inequality mean that many many people throughout the world will never have access to the opportunity to get to where Graham is talking about.
